Hi, I have used the plugin but the buttons are not appearing on the page. What have I done wrong?
Yes, WooCommerce is free to use. It has impressive functionality “out of the box” but we believe most e-commerce entrepreneurs will want to avail themselves of the many extensions (also called “add-ons” or “plugins”) that expand the functionality of WooCommerce.
.
Sorry Noor – that error was due to a typo on my part, however, having fixed that problem I can now see my shopping cart but only the first item has a “Description” the others are blank
Now you need to navigate to Settings / PayPal Donations to configure the plugin and design your donation button. This is the general settings screen you will see:

To allow the site owner to cover this adjustment I have provided a similar facility in the plugin to allow the conversion used to be adjusted in a similar manner.

Needless to say, you will also get full PayPal integration to help you accept payment coming from customers. The plugin will also help to generate a PayPal sandbox environment to help you try out if the payment system is working or not. Easily create and embed “add to cart” buttons using shortcodes. Option to add a dynamic “add to cart” button in the theme. Support for selling tangible goods, services, as well as media files like audio, video, or images. PayPal sandbox to help you test the payment system. Create a custom email that will be sent to your customers on completing a purchase. Option to create coupons and special discount offers. A whole host of video tutorials to teach you how to use the plugin.

Properly setting up the cart can be a little complicated, and I suggest you give this aspect of setting up your store a lot of attention and testing. Getting it wrong can be a source of stress once you begin selling, so work through all the details before you let the customers in. Just a piece of advice from someone who has been there!
@Paul, As far as I know that’s the only thing you can do as a seller. It’s clearly an intermittent issue on the PayPal’s end. Karen Reliford I’m very new to WP Paypal. I have been able to get the Add to Cart button to work, and I think I have all the settings correct, however, I keep getting an error that this does not seem to be set up properly. My website is not yet published as I’m still developing and testing and I don’t want to publish it until I know the payment processing will work. Any suggestions on how I can complete this testing and get the integration to paypal to work properly would be greatly appreciated. You should now see a WooCommerce setup window appear. This is where we set up the core elements of your online store. Select the Let’s Go button. Create your Shop, Cart, Checkout and My Account pages following the setup wizard. Select Continue once done. Set up your location in the Store Locale section. Select Continue once done. Tell WooCommerce whether you’ll be shipping physical items in the Shipping & Tax window. This will help you configure local taxes. Select Continue once done. Select your payment method in the Payments window. Select one or more depending on your needs. Select Continue once done. Confirm all your settings at the final window.
After you install the WooCommerce extension, you can configure PayPal payments for your store. To do this, follow these steps: Log in to your WordPress site as the administrator. In the left-hand pane, click WooCommerce, and then click Settings. Click the Checkout tab. Under Payment Gateways, locate PayPal, and then click Settings. Under Enable/Disable, confirm that the Enable PayPal standard check box is selected. In the Title text box, specify the title text you want to appear for the PayPal option during checkout. In the Description text box, specify a description to appear when customers select PayPal as their payment method during checkout. Specify the remaining payment, shipping, and gateway testing options, and then click Save changes.
